Pointe de Lanvéoc

Why take advantage?

It's a very different kind of headland, opening out onto the Iroise Sea. Here, there are no steep cliffs or coastlines cut by the elements.

The Pointe de Lanvéoc is much gentler, but still offers a magnificent panorama of the Brest roadstead. Looking north, you can make out the port of Brest and the Plougastel coastline, from which the wind sometimes carries the scent of strawberry fields.

At the foot of the point lies the beautiful and relaxing Plage de la Cale. It's the perfect place to take a dip in the harbor, enjoy a picnic with family or friends and admire the 19th-century military fort overlooking the beach.
