The geographical configuration of this peninsula is exceptional, offering superb waterways and beaches. The coastline most exposed to the swell lies between Cap de la Chèvre and Pointe du Toulinguet. It faces due west. It's a surfer's paradise, with a wide choice of spots (beach breaks, point breaks, reefs) to suit all weather conditions and levels of ability. The Bay of Douarnenez is also an interesting surfing area, especially when conditions are massive.
