Haliotika la cité de la pêche in Le Guilvinec is THE must-see visit in the Bigouden region. In our discovery center, board the Bara Breizh, a reconstructed trawler, and follow the fish's journey from sea to plate. In total immersion, discover the coastal fish market and witness the live auction of fish from our coasts. It's an unforgettable visit that will give you an insight into the difficult but fascinating job of our fishermen.

Start your immersive visit to our Discovery Center by virtually boarding the "Bara Breizh", a deep-sea trawler from Le Guilvinec.
Every area of the ship is recreated: saloon, lazarette, interactive bridge, bunks, showers, changing room, fish hold, engine room...
Continue your visit by following the fish step by step on its journey from sea to plate.

Then take an immersive tour of the coastal fish auction from 4pm:
Attend the auction of fritillating langoustines and fish just unloaded from the boats. Our guides will explain how the auction works and tell you a few anecdotes about the fish and shellfish.

Join us for a delightful afternoon before the boats arrive, to awaken your senses and discover the world of fishing! Guided tour of Haliotika + Scampi tasting + Guided tour of the coastal fish market to watch the sale of freshly landed fish and shellfish.
