Haliotika - The City of Fishing

The Cité de la Pêche is one of the must-see attractions of your stay: reconstructed trawlers, visits to the fish auction, cookery workshops, children's workshops, treasure hunts, a treasure hunt for ages 15 and up, a langoustine bar... Sea fishing will hold no more secrets for you!

Visits for the whole family during opening hours:
The reconstructed trawler and the "From Sea to Plate" trail
Embark virtually on board the "Bara Breizh", a deep-sea trawler from Le Guilvinec.
Every area of the ship is recreated: saloon, lazarette, interactive gangway, bunks, showers, changing room, fish hold, engine room...
This is a unique opportunity to experience a real immersion in the daily life of fishermen by sharing a tide with a Bigouden crew, without getting seasick!
February vacation, spring vacation to end of fall vacation and Christmas vacation.

Fish discovery tour at 11am and 3pm:
As a family, with children of all ages, discover the fascinating stories of our coastal fish! The guide also takes the opportunity to explain how the auction works. Admission to Haliotika is included in the package.

L'Après-midi en Folie at 2pm and 2:15pm:
Join us for a delightful afternoon before the boats arrive, to awaken your senses and discover the world of fishing! Guided tour of Haliotika + Scampi tasting + Guided tour of the coastal fish market to watch the sale of freshly landed fish and shellfish.
Tuesday to Friday. Spring and summer vacations.

Visit the coastal fish auction from 4pm:
Before or after taking a free tour of our new "All Aboard!" trail, and discovering the journey from sea to plate, attend the auction of fritillating langoustines and fish just landed by the fishermen. Our guide will explain how the auction works and tell you a few anecdotes about the fish and shellfish.

Dogs are allowed in the Discovery Center.
Please note that they are not allowed on guided tours of the fish market.
