La Vie Claire: organic produce store since 1948

A free, enlightened spirit and food pioneer, Henri-Charles Geffroy founded the magazine "La Vie Claire" in 1946. Two years later, in 1948, the first La Vie Claire organic store was opened. On this occasion, the first La Vie Claire-branded products were marketed in the same store.

Over the years, our brand has established itself as a free, independent organic specialist store. It's a mindset we share with our customers, who are well-informed consumers, aware of environmental, social and economic issues, and determined to make their choices count.
