Circuit du vent - Roscanvel

The northern tip of the Armorique cross, Roscanvel is itself a peninsula within the Crozon peninsula. Its charm lies in its dual face, both maritime and terrestrial. Bordered by 16 km of coastline rich in magnificent shores and wild cliffs, it's teeming with fortifications and extraordinary historic military sites, built between the 17th and 20th centuries. Vauban forts stand alongside Empire batteries and World War II blockhouses. The coastal path, formerly known as the "sentier des douaniers", takes you past most of these emblematic sites. Stop off at the Pointe des Espagnols for a remarkable view of Brest and its harbor.
